PERFORMING AT RED VELVET PARTY 2010!
Tropic of Cancer is proud to announce that Las Vegas' very own hip-hop artist Dizzy D Flashy will perform LIVE at Red Velvet Party 2010 on Saturday, July 10!
Since his debut performance on BET's 106 & Park earlier this year in January which he won with record-breaking votes, Dizzy D Flashy has been working diligently in the studio. He has recorded dozens of new songs in preparation of releasing an independent record later this year. (That is, unless a major recording label comes forward before then.) For now, the young artist is only interested in continuing to build his fan base and internet presence as he prepares for his upcoming performances in New York City at the "Blaze The Stage" 2010 Invitational Showcase on Aug. 7 at the Symphony Space Theater, as well as a performance on 106 & Park on the Wild Out Wednesday All-Stars on Aug. 18.
While staying focused on these upcoming performances, Dizzy D Flashy has also been working on his second mix-tape which is currently untitled and due for release in early July. His first mix-tape, "The Takeover," is now available on the internet. He also recently released his first-ever independent video for his song "Tha Truth" on YouTube. Red Velvet Party 2010!
Sevi'a was born and raised in Long Beach, California. With his distinguished style, conspicuous lyrics and breathtaking vocal ability, Sevi'a is a rocket ready to blast off! Since as long as he can remember, Sevi'a has been singing and dancing, mimicking performances from greats like the "King of Pop" Michael Jackson, MC Hammer & Usher, to singing powerful soul hits from Boyz II Men, Whitney Houston, and the late-great Luther Vandross. He credits all of those music greats in the development of his appreciation for music.
What began as mere thoughts and ideas, Sevi'a began to put pen to paper with words describing his life experiences and things he saw in his everyday world. This led to the discovery of his talent for writing music lyrics. His talents have manifested, and today, Sevi'a is in pursuit of attaining his goals and dreams of becoming all he can be.
Sevi'a is a charming young man with a bright future ahead in the music industry. His music will affect and inspire the listener in a positive way, and not only will they recognize his gifts and talents, but they will leave with something special.

Red Velvet Party 2010!
DJ FAME is originally from Portland, Oregon, and has lived in the Las Vegas Valley for over four years. He began to DJ upon his arrival, and hasn't stopped since. DJ FAME has DJ'ed at Frozen 75, a nightclub for the younger 18-20 year old crowd, located in Henderson. He has also played at the Cadillac Ranch All-American Bar & Grill at Town Square.
Recently, DJ FAME has worked with local hip-hop artist Dizzy D Flashy, making mix-tapes and such. He is always looking for folks that are in need of a DJ, and he plays all types of music. Be sure to say hello at RVP & welcome DJ FAME in helping support our cause for Camp Laurel!
